Slingo is a fast-paced hybrid game that combines elements of slots and bingo. It was created in 1995 by Sal Falciglia Jr., who wanted to combine the excitement of slot machines with the strategy and social aspect of bingo. In this game, players are given a 5x5 grid filled with numbers, similar to a traditional bingo card. They then spin reels at the bottom of the screen which reveal numbers. If any numbers on your grid match those on the reels, they are marked off.
The objective of Slingo is to mark off as many numbers as possible within a certain number of spins. The more lines you complete - horizontally, vertically, or diagonally - the higher your score will be. But beware! Just like in slots, there are special symbols that can either help or hinder your progress. Wilds allow you to mark off any number on your grid while devils block potential matches.
