Live Casino

BK8 Casino has many different games in their Live Casino section, so if you are a fan of this form of entertainment you will appreciate it. All the games are of high quality streamed to your device. Some of the games you can play here include Baccarat, Poker, and Roulette, just to name some.

Live Baccarat

Baccarat is one of the many games you can play live at BK8 Casino. Before you play for real money it is a good idea to know the rules of the game, and the great news here is that Baccarat is a very simple game to play and the rules are easy to learn.

Once you place your bet, the dealing follows a strict procedure, so you can sit back and relax. It is always a good idea to know what is happening in front of your eyes though, so for that reason, we will explain the rules.

When you play in a land-based casino, only 14 players are allowed at the table. But, when you play online there can be more players at the same time. The table is marked with 3 boxes where you can place your bet, one box for the Player, one for the Banker, and one for the Tie bet.

The game aims to get a hand as close to 9. During the gameplay, you don't have to make any decisions since the game is played following pre-set rules. All that is expected from you to do is to decide what bet you want to place, and how much you want to wager.

Once the bets are placed, the dealer will draw the cards. When you receive your cards you add the value of the cards together to get a total sum between zero and nine. The cards have slightly different values for the game. Aces are counted as 1, 10s and face cards are counted as 0, and cards from 2 through 9 have their face value.

If the two cards you receive initially add up to a two-digit number then the second digit shows the value of your hand. For instance, if you receive a 6 and a 7 which add up to 13, then the value of your hand will be 3.

If the Player or the Banker has an 8 or 9, this is called a natural hand and whoever has it wins the round.

If the Player and the Banker have the same amount of points, the tie bet will win. This might be the one bet that will attract you if you are a beginner because it offers the highest payout. But experienced players know that this bet will rarely occur so we suggest you avoid it.

If no one has a natural or a tie, the game continues and the value of the player's hand dictates what happens next.

If the player has a hand with a total value of 6 or 7, they will stand, and if they have a hand with a total value of 5 or less, they will draw another card.

The rules for the Banker are a bit different and they have to follow some pre-determined rules. The good news is that you don't have to know these rules if they seem complicated to you, to have a successful session. But, if you want to know what is happening in front of you then we will go over the rules:

  • If the dealer has a hand that totals 7, 8, or 9, they will stand.
  • If the dealer has a hand that totals 6, they will receive another card if the player's third card was 6 or 7.
  • If the dealer has a hand that totals 5, they will receive another card if the player's third card was between 4 and 7.
  • If the dealer has a hand that totals 4, they will receive another card if the player's third card was between 2 and 7.
  • If the dealer has a hand that totals 3, they will receive another card if the player's third card was anything but 8.
  • If the dealer has a hand that totals between 0 and 2, they will receive another card.

Live Blackjack

Live Blackjack is another game you can play live at BK8 Casino. Facing a real live dealer who conducts the game in front of your eyes is a unique experience. The game proceeds as normal, where the dealer draws the cards from a physical shoe.

The rules for playing Blackjack are quite simple and you will master them in no time.

The objective of the game is to beat the dealer. There are three ways you can do that:

  • You draw a hand value that is higher than the dealer's hand value, without going over 21.
  • The dealer draws a hand value that goes over 21.
  • You draw a hand value of 21 on your first two cards.

You don't care about the other players at the table, because your game is only against the dealer.

Blackjack is played with a standard 52-card deck and the suits are not important for the game. The cards have slightly different values for the game:

  • Cards from 2 through 10 have their face value.
  • Face cards are counted at 10.
  • Aces are counted as 1 or 11.

The game is played on a semicircular table that can accommodate up to 7 players. But, when you play online the number of players can be greater.

At the start of each round, you need to place a bet and keep in mind that each table comes with a minimum and maximum bet. The dealer will then deal the cards, two for the player and two for themselves. You will receive both of your cards face up, while the dealer will have one card face-down and the other one will be face-up.

If you are lucky enough and the first two cards you received are a ten-value card and an Ace, you have a Blackjack and you are the winner of the round. If you don't have a blackjack and neither the dealer has one, then the game continues. You have a couple of options available to improve your hand. These are all the available ways you can play your hand:

  • Stand – if you are happy with the hand you have you can stand and not receive additional cards.
  • Hit – if you believe that an additional card will help you improve the value of your hand, then you can hit. You can receive as many cards as you believe is necessary.
  • Double Down – if you have a good hand but you need one more additional card, then you can double your initial wager and the dealer will deal only one additional card to you.
  • Split – if the first two cards you receive are a pair, you have the option to split the cards and play them as two separate hands. You will have to place another wager equal to your initial one.
  • Surrender – if you don't think you can do anything with your hand, you can give up and get half your original bet back.
  • Insurance – this is a side bet offered when the dealer's upcard is an Ace. You can put a wager equal to half your original wager or less. Here you bet that the dealer has a Blackjack, and if they do you will receive a payout for the insurance bet but lose your original bet.

Once you are done playing your hand, it is the dealer's turn. They will always follow strict rules. The dealer will always hit until they reach 17, and once they do, they will stand.

Live Roulette

Roulette is probably one of those games everyone has heard of. The roulette wheel has been featured in many films and you have probably realized by now that it is a simple game to play. Roulette indeed is an easy game to play, once you go over some basic rules.

Before the game starts, you need to place a bet on the dedicated spot on the roulette table. Each table will have minimum and maximum limits and your bet should not exceed the table limit. You can place the bet before the dealer closes the betting session.

The game consists of a wheel that features red and black slots that have numbers from 1 through 36, and one or two green zero slots depending on whether you play European or American roulette. The American roulette wheel features a green 0 and a 00 pocket, while the European roulette has a single zero only. The extra zero in American roulette increases the house edge, so if you are looking for a more challenging game then this is the one for you.

After you have placed your bet, the dealer will spin the wheel and throw the white ball. Once the wheel stops spinning the ball will land in one slot marking the winning number.

Types of Bets in Roulette

A very important thing that you need to pay attention to, is the types of bets you can place when you play roulette. This will help you feel more confident during your gameplay and make better-informed decisions.

There are many betting combinations available, some offer better chances of winning, but the payouts are not that impressive. On the other hand, some bets offer great payouts, but the chances of winning them are way smaller.

There are two categories of bets that are offered by all roulette games, Inside and Outside bets. Inside bets are the ones that you place on the numbers themselves and they include the following ones:

  • Straight is a bet that covers one single number, and to make this bet you need to place the chips inside the square of the number you want to bet.
  • Split is a bet that covers two numbers that are adjacent on the table, and to make this bet you need to place the chips on the shared line of the two number's squares.
  • Street is a bet that covers three numbers located on the same line, and to make this bet you need to place the chips on the outer corner of the row.
  • Six Line is a bet that covers two adjacent lines, and to make this bet you need to place the chips on the common outer corner of the two lines.
  • Corner is a bet that covers four numbers that form a square on the table, and to make this bet you need to put the chips on the common corner of the four numbers.
  • Trio is a bet that covers the zero in European roulette, and the zeros in American roulette. To place this bet you need to place the chip on the line shared by the zero boxes and the two other numbers.
  • Basket is a bet that covers the following numbers 0, 1, 2, and 3, and to make this bet you need to place the chips on the corner shared by the zero boxes and the first line. When you play American roulette, this bet includes the double zero.

Outside bets are placed outside the number field and they cover bigger groups of numbers. There are five types of outside bets including the following ones:

  • Red or Black is the most popular bet, and it is a bet on the color of the winning number.
  • Odd or Even is a bet that the ball will land on either an odd or an even number.
  • Low or High is a bet that the ball will land on either a low number, which includes numbers from 1 through 18, or on a high number, which includes numbers from 19 through 36.
  • Dozens bet is a bet on one of three dozens that you can find on the layout of the table.
  • Columns bet is a bet on one of the three columns you can find on the layout of the table.

There is another bet that some games feature and it is called the Snake Bet. This bet covers the following numbers 1, 5, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 23, 27, 30, 32, and 34, and when you put the chips on the table they resemble a snake. Some games feature a Black Snake Bet and it includes the following numbers 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 17, 20, 24, 26, 29, 28, 31, and 35, which are all black, thus the name of the bet.

Live Poker

Poker is a game you can play live at BK8 Casino. This is a game for players who are looking for a more challenging experience because, to be honest, you can't play poker without knowing the basic rules.

There are a couple of things that you need to pay attention to and the good news is that you can play the game in fun mode to practice the rules. Anyhow, when you play live you have to place real money wagers.

The winner in the round is the player that holds the highest ranked hand when all the cards are shown at the end of each round. So it comes naturally that the first thing you need to learn is the hand rankings.

  • Straight flush is when you have five cards in numerical order all of the same suits.
  • Four of a Kind is when you have four cards of the same rank and one additional card.
  • Full House is when you have three cards of the same rank and two cards of a different but matching rank.
  • Flush is when you have five cards of the same suit.
  • Straight is when you have five cards in sequence.
  • Three of a Kind is when you have three cards of the same rank and two unrelated cards.
  • Two Pair is when you have two cards of a matching rank and another two cards of a different matching rank.
  • One Pair is when you have two cards of a matching rank and three unrelated cards.
  • High Card is when you don't have any of the above-mentioned hands and the only card of value is your highest card.

The game starts with forced bets called Big Blind and Small Blind, which get the action going. This happens even before you receive your first cards. Once the forced bets have been placed, the initial cards are dealt and each player has to act. There are a couple of different actions you can take when it is your turn and they include the following ones:

  • Check – you have the opportunity to decline to open the betting. This option is only available if no one else has placed a bet before you during a given round.
  • Bet – you can bet if no one before you has placed a bet. Once you place a bet, every next player must match the amount bet.
  • Fold – you can forfeit your hand and give up the amount you have already put into the pot.
  • Call – you can call if other players before you have made a bet. You need to match the highest bet made.
  • Raise – you can raise the bet during the current round. To do that, you have to match the highest bet made and then make a greater one. All players following you, have to match the raised bet.

Live Sic Bo

Sic Bo is a dice game that is very easy to understand. You need to place wagers on the available dice combinations that are outlined on the table. Simply put the chips in the corresponding box and hope that your prediction is right.

There are six main categories of bets you can make and they include the following ones:

  • Single Number Bets are bets on any of the numbers 1 through 6 coming up on the next roll of the 3 dice.
  • Two Number Combination Bets are bets that two specific numbers will appear among the three dice.
